Fiji Bike Challenge 2017
If you’re keen to sign up for the ultimate charitable challenge, you needn’t look any further than the Fiji Bike Challenge 2017. As part of this 11-day event, you’ll be flown out to Nadi International Airport and cycle over a total of 200 miles, passing through some of the island’s most stunning landscapes, including the beautiful towns of Sigatoka, Korovou and Rakiraki – all while you’re raising money and awareness. If you think you’re up for the challenge, what are you waiting for? Scheduled for this coming September, the Fiji Bike Challenge requires you to raise a minimum of £4,000 for your chosen Human Appeal project.
Edinburgh Festival Marathon 2017
Whether you’ve ever taken part in a long-distance run before or not, the Edinburgh Festival Marathon could be right up your street. Starting on both London Road and Regent’s Road, the marathon will take you past some of the Scottish capital’s most historic and famous landscapes, including Holyrood Palace, Portobello Promenade, Gosford House, Musselburgh Links and the picturesque coast of East Lothian. Whether you sign up for the full 10k or you settle for the shorter 5k course, you can improve your fitness while doing your bit for charity this May.
Human Appeal’s Bring It On! Kilimanjaro 2017 challenge is not for the faint-hearted. After raising a minimum of £3,500 for your chosen cause, you’ll fly out to Tanzania to embark on a gruelling climb up the famous Mount Kilimanjaro. Following a scheduled itinerary, you’ll begin a six -day trek, walking distances of between five and 12 miles per day. Despite the physical challenges involved, there’s no denying that it could be life changing experience you’ll never forget.
