We build websites for clients and for ourselves. We code them by hand, making each site clean, findable and user-friendly in all types of computing environments.

Welcome… Welcome

by Jeff Rummel

As most designers will tell you, if we were cobblers, then our professional sites would be our children, and they would indeed be shoeless. The redesign of this site was originally scheduled for release at the end of 2009, but due to an overwhelming number of clients wanting our hand-coded goodness, we had to put the project on hold.

I started working on the site with basic architecture, colors, and (of course) content. I created quick wireframes in less than a day and immediately began designing the typography and the information architecture. In late Autumn, 2009,  this early phase of the project neared completion, while the needs and number of my clients grew. Taking care of my clients came first, and the company redesign had to wait.

Over the months I thought more about the solutions for this site then I did labor on it. In mid-April I finally sat down to push the site from typography to what you see here, I was able to simply do the work. Through the thoughtful, intellectual approach, by the time I fired up my text editor to start coding, I moved swiftly. Ninety percent of the final design had already been coded in my head. My fingers were merely taking dictation from my brain.

Now, GetWithGood has been fully redesigned from the ground up! It will continue to evolve with new pages and richer content to give you all of the resources you need to work with us. The blog will be here to offer insight into developing technology, tips for new website owners, my thoughts on running a small business, and running a small business in a small city.

I invite you to comment in our journal posts, view our portfolio, and contact us with questions and to get started on your next web project.

Great to see the new site up, running, and looking great. The sites you’ve designed for my clients continue to please. I’m glad you found some time to finish this baby up.

Hi there. Had a side route to your posting from Yahoo search engine trying a fresh variant of Opera. I was in the midst of preliminary research on ‘ website best design practices ‘ for a page called http://www.bestdesignwebsite.com/World_Best_Design_Website.php I had to stop and say that I admired your writing style, and intend on planning to repeat the style around my next page development dedicated to ‘best website design’ for http://www.bestdesignwebsite.com/Website_Design_Best_Software.php facts Fine visiting again Chow!
